Lip Care

So with cold times coming up, this Sunday I am all about lip care. I try to pay loads of attention to my skin, but what about mouth? I don't want to see my lips cracking, chapping and things like cold sores. So I have got four lip care products at the moment. 

1. The Body shop. Hemp Moisture High Balm. I got it on sale some time ago. The texture is oily and you have to sort of warm up the product in the tin before using it, as the product is in a solid form. But it made dry cracked lips felling soft and moisturised very quick. I thought at first it was a little greasy but after about five minutes on the skin it has absorbed.

2. Next. Just pink Strawberry lip balm. Got it because i loved this pretty pink tin.I think that the texture is quite silky and very  smooth. Love the strawberry smell and how soft it looks on the lips.

3. Boots Essentials Lip Salve Strawberry and Tinted. The lip balm is amazing and the price is too. Once I have applied the balm on my lips i didn't feel like it was caked on me, and i forgot that i was wearing it.

Now i have lip balm in my coat pocket, in Emily's pram bag in my my bedroom and in my living room. I just wanted to make sure i don't go outside without one, any more, ever!

I would say that  the most important tip for beautiful lips is to hydrate your body by drinking plenty of water. Dehydration can cause not juts dryness of lips but many other skin problems. And of course i hope you don't like licking your lips when outside, licking lips doesn’t moisturise them! I like exfoliating my lips  every other week with a stiff tooth brush and a drop of honey, I would suggest doing that before going to bed. And one more tip what works every time for me is: after making cup of tea, let tea bag to cool down a little bit and press it on lips for three to four minutes. This increases moisture level on skin of lips and feel very good.
